When in Swansea why not look up Dunvant Male Choir, even if we haven't got a local concert, you can visit one of our rehearsals at Olchfa School, Sketty (SA2 7AB) on a Monday or Thursday evening 7 - 9 pm.
We look forward to meeting you.

Our sixth festival: The Admiral 2010 Mumbles Mostly Blues & Jazz Festival presents another world-class programme of music by the seaside for the May Bank Holiday weekend, April 30th to May 3rd.

The Year of Women in Blues & Jazz

Talented women singers and musicians have already made their mark in the festival’s remarkable five-year history. (Think Tina May and Lee Gibson, two of the finest women jazz singers in the country. Or Zoé Schwarz and The Baddest Blues Band — Ever!). And for 2010, the programme, which is once again generously sponsored by Admiral, will be led by top international female talent

I look forward to seeing the dawn of the Worm, and steaming past The Mumbles, across Swansea Bay picking out Swansea's "lovely, ugly town with more layers than an onion," as described by Dylan Thomas. I wish everyone involved in the venture to get the ferry back up and running the very best for 2010. Book early for spaces around Cork week in July an event that sorely missed the MV Superferry when she stopped running. Planning a trip back to my other home in March and look forward to meeting the crew onboard.
