Q. Are you recruiting staff for the new service?

All crew and shore positions have now been filled. Should other positions become available in the future they will be displayed on this website and you are welcome to make a formal application at that time.

Q. I’m a Co-op shareholder - how do I book ?

Q. What are your office opening hours ?

A. UK Opening Hours
From 1st February 2010 our call centre is open as follows:-
Monday to Thursday 0800-2000 hours
Friday 0800-1900 hours
Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays 0900-1800 hours

Monday to Friday 0900 to 1730 excluding Bank Holidays.

Q. Can I cancel my booking?
A.
Fastnet Line allows you to cancel your booking but terms and conditions apply. All cancellations should be submitted by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Charge for Cancellations;
- Cancellations made 8 or more days before sailing: £40 / €45
- Cancellations made 3 - 7 days before sailing: 50 % of fare
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of or after sailing: 100% of fare
Promotional and sale fares may attract special terms and conditions relating to amendment and cancellation charges which will be listed on the relevant fare pages over the course of the offer booking period.

Q. Will you be carrying motorcycles ?

Yes - you can book a place for your motorcycle or motorcycle/sidecar on the ferry.

Q. What facilities do you have the the disabled / infirm ?
A.
The Julia has lifts to all floors, and on-the-level access to all passenger areas.

Q. Are there facilities for Pets on-board the Julia?
A.
Yes - the Julia has a number of spacious, secure, kennel runs - each of which can accommodate one or more dogs or cats. Pet owners can visit their pets during the crossing.There is a small charge for this - (€20 / £18 per trip) - don’t forget to book your pet’s kennel accommodation when making your booking. You can also leave your pet in your car during the sailing if you prefer however there is no access to the car decks during the sailing.

Q. What ID / Passport / Visa do I need to travel to/from Ireland ?
A.
We recommend that all passengers bring a passport with them. Irish and British citizens do not strictly require a passport to travel between the two countries - some form of photo identification is however required.
Please note that all nationalities (except Irish or British) require passports. Non-EU nationals should check with the British or Irish embassy before travelling as they may also need a Visa.
Passengers who arrive at our Ports without valid documentation may not be allowed to enter either Ireland or Britain.
